This week we take a trip to Fr. Stockton, Texas and help them celebrate their sesquicentennial. We open the show by talking to two early fort laundresses…Yes the government provided laundresses for the army.

We also visit with Judy Templeton who lives in one of the original officer’s homes. (Picture is of the Templeton Home)

The show wraps up with a conversation with Texas historian Glen Ely about the Butterfield Stage line.

Our music this week is provided by Juni Fisher and also by Don Edwards.
