WILD BILL HICKOK KILLED I & II – Always setting with his back to the wall when he played poker, Wild Bill changed his seating arrangement, and paid the ultimate price.

MILLER KILLS COLLINS – While arresting Port Pruitt, a prominent citizen, Marshall Ben Collins crippled Port. So Port hired Killin’ Jim Miller to do in Ben. Mysteriously nothing happened to Port or Jim Miller. NEEL MOWRY ENDURANCE RACE – Horseracing and the required betting was big in the Old West. However, when Neel raced, the bets we on him and not the horse. WAGON BOX FIGHT – This was one of the few times that Red Cloud made a mistake in battle. The mistake was that his opponents had breech-loading Springfield rifles.
HARRY TRACY – Harry was called “mad dog.” And here is one time that a nickname fit the personality. MIKE MCCLUSKIE'S BAD DECISION – A strong willed man, Mike McCluskie killed Texan Bill Wilson in a fair fight. Concerned about other Texans taking revenge, Mike left town. A week later Mike returned to town and was killed by the Texans. JOHN W. SWILLING – There are times when a man’s life ends up in disaster and his accomplishments seem to go to waste, when years later he becomes known for something great. John Swilling was one of these men. GUADALUPE PASS AMBUSH – The story of the death of Newman Clanton, the head of the Clanton gang of cowboys. JOHNH MORCO – John did a lot of drinking. And it seems that when he drank, he angered people, which often resulted in gun play. JIM TALBOT – In the Old West men changed their names at the drop of a hat. But changing your name won’t change your fate. STAGECOACH ROBBERY PHOTOGRAPHED – This is the story of the first recorded photograph of a crime in progress. TEMPLE HOUSTON – Temple was probably the first celebrity lawyer. And he was quite a man. JAYBIRD-WOODPECKER WAR – Here is a Texas political war where it was difficult to determine who were the Republicans and the Democrats, because they kept impersonating the other party. WILLIAM ARNETT – Arnett’s fate was that of most horse thieves. But he was buried with a couple of unusual items. JOHN ARMSTRONG – Texas Ranger Armstrong was known as a bulldog because of his tenaciousness. John Wesley Harden experienced the bulldog even though Harden was in Florida. CHARLES BRYANT – Bryant wished to be killed in one heck of a minute of action. And, he got his wish.
WOMEN DUEL – Although many shootouts were caused by a woman, this one was caused by a man.
